Role & responsibilities

1.Develop Curriculum: Collaborate with the Science departments and other faculty members to design a cohesive and dynamic curriculum. Create lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments that align with educational standards and promote.

2. Stay updated on scientific advancements: Stay current with the latest developments and research in the fields of science. Continuously updated your knowledge and incorporate new findings into teaching materials. Share relevant information with the students and promote scientific literacy.

3.Collaborate with colleagues: Work collaboratively with other members to exchange ideas, share best practices and contribute to the improvement of the departments. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

4. Teacher Training & Professional Development: Provide comprehensive training for educators, focusing on subject-specific expertise, modern teaching methodologies, and practical learning approaches. Equip teachers with the skills to deliver content effectively by integrating up-to-date pedagogical strategies, such as active learning, flipped classrooms, and inquiry-based learning. Emphasize the importance of hands-on, experiential learning to help students connect theory with real-world applications. Additionally, encourage continuous professional growth through workshops, seminars, and peer collaboration, ensuring that teachers remain well-versed in the latest educational trends and technologies, ultimately enhancing student engagement and outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience of teaching/ leading a science program or initiated innovative program in science in creditable institutions/ Research orientation, Experience in curriculum design, supporting capacity building of teachers, development of resources. Leading Science program . Experience in teaching science courses at the undergraduate level is desirable.
