Decision Minds - Senior PL-SQL Developer - Database Management (6-8 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer to join our team in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in PL/SQL development, SQL, and Oracle databases, along with a strong background in the banking industry. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database applications to support our banking operations and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.

- Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and efficiency.

- Create and modify database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and sequences.

Database Management :

- Perform data modeling and database design to support business requirements.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple environments.

- Manage and maintain Oracle databases, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Banking Domain Expertise :

- Apply banking domain knowledge to design and implement database solutions that meet regulatory

and business requirements.

- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather and understand requirements.

- Develop and support banking applications, including core banking, payments, and customer data

management systems.

Support and Maintenance :

- Provide production support and resolve issues related to database applications.

- Monitor database performance and implement measures to ensure optimal performance.

- Create and maintain documentation for database applications and processes.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database development.

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and PL/SQL code.

- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.

- Familiarity with Oracle database administration tasks.

Domain Expertise :

- In-depth understanding of banking processes, regulations, and best practices.

- Experience in developing and supporting banking applications, including core banking systems.
