Decimal Point Analytics - Senior Data Scientist - Python/R (2-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to address complex business challenges.

- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from large datasets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to define data requirements and project objectives.

- Optimize and fine-tune existing models for performance and scalability.

- Develop and automate data pipelines for eAicient data collection, transformation, and analysis.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.

- Present findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and impactful data visualizations and reports.

Requirements :

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field from IIT or NIT Colleges only.

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

Skills :

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib).

- Proficiency in working with databases and query languages like SQL.

- Hands-on experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical insights effectively.

Preferred :

- Experience in the finance domain or a related industry is an advantage.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
