Key Requirements:

Accounting Skills

• Strong Accounting background and accounting knowledge preferably having experience up to Finalization of Account
• Work on complex tasks like intercompany reconciliation and true-up entries, consolidation, cleaning up of old and outstanding items, researching any ad hoc requests from clients, etc & respond accordingly.
• Strong experience of Financial reporting and reconciliation
• Active involvement in month end close activities

Systems

• Working experience on ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, etc, with over 3-5 years of professional accounting work experience.
• Hands on working experience with ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, etc
• Experience in Advanced excel.
• Good experience of PowerPoint presentation.
• Experience in using dashboards like Power BI, Qlik, Tableau etc. would be an advantage

General Skills

• Proactive with ability to understand business requirements, document requirements and provide solutions.
• Experience to communicate effectively as a member of functional/cross functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work with senior management including CFO, CEO

Job Description

Candidate should be looking to expand role from an Accountant to becoming a Financial Consultant/ ERP Consultant. This would involve:

• You may be required to handle day to day support tasks or be involved in new implementation projects
• You are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems
• Your day-to-day interactions are with peers within DBA Lounge and client stakeholders
• You are required to be able to think clearly, logically and be able to articulate those to your team as your clients.
• You should be flexible to move from a strictly accounting role to a larger cross functional role involving various other functions.
• You should be keen to learn new technology rapidly and adapt to different clients across industries
• You are likely to have extensive interaction with large Enterprise clients and their management
• You will be expected to be a self-starter and take initiative.
