We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior SalesExecutive with over 6 to 8 years of experience in sales, specificallywithin the Automotive EMS sector. The ideal candidate will have a deepunderstanding of this sector and a proven track record of making inroads intoit. As a Sales Manager in India for the Automotive Sector , you willoperate with a high degree of autonomy to drive growth in Automotive accountsin India.
The position will be based in India and will involve regulartravel to target customer locations.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Responsible for order intake, revenue, and profit targets for theAutomotive Sector.
Significantly grow the DLM business by winning new business in theAutomotive Sector.
Conduct market research to understand the needs and requirements of targetcustomers.
Develop business cases and strategies and lead overall activities toachieve growth and market penetration in this sector.
Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers andstakeholders within the automotive industry.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposalstailored to the automotive sector.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, andmarket conditions.
Provide timely forecasts of revenue, business capture, sales and ordersbooking, and status of pursuits and proposals.
Generate, maintain, and present sales management artifacts and toolssuch as strategic sales plans, account plans, sales funnels, capture plans, andorder forecasts.
Work closely with Business Development, Strategy, Marketing, andTechnical teams to meet organizational goals.
Enhance visibility for Cyient DLM by participating in expositions andconferences.
Diligent use of Salesforce to track and maintain account data.
Skills and Knowledge
Minimum of 6 to 8 years of sales experience, with at least 6+ years in theEMS sector handling Automotive Sector accounts and / or directly in the AutomotiveSector.
Proven track record in successful sales and business development withcustomers in the Automotive Sector
Strong understanding of the Automotive Sector procurementprocess and regulations.
Demonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing principles and concepts.
Excellent written and oral communication as well as effectivepresentation skills.
Ability to present business plans and sales strategies to senior andexecutive management.
