About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will design and execute performance test strategies, analyze results, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize web application performance.

Your expertise in performance testing frameworks, web application architecture, and data management will be key to ensuring scalable and reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement performance test strategies to assess scalability, capacity, and reliability.

- Analyze performance data from service layers, databases, runtime engines, and supporting infrastructure.

- Communicate results effectively to stakeholders with actionable recommendations.

- Design and maintain synthetic load test harnesses using frameworks like Gatling, JMeter, or k6.

- Manage test data and optimize SQL queries for relational databases.

- Profile application runtime to identify performance bottlenecks.

- Conduct API load testing and work with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g, DataDog, New Relic, Grafana).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 7+ years in software testing with a focus on performance testing.

- 3+ years of programming experience in JavaScript or Java.

- 3+ years working with SQL and relational databases.

- 3+ years testing web applications, including API testing.

- Proficiency with performance testing frameworks (Gatling, JMeter, k6, or similar).

- Strong knowledge of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL (preferred).

- Familiarity with runtime profiling, containerization (Docker), and Linux command line.
