Business Continuity Management Role (2-8 yrs)

Job Description: Business Continuity / IT Disaster Recovery Consultant.

Location: Bangalore.

Experience Required: 2 to 8 years.

Key Responsibilities:.

- Execute and manage end-to-end Business Continuity (BC) and IT Disaster Recovery (DR) consulting and implementation projects.

- Conduct business impact assessments, risk assessments, and develop comprehensive business continuity strategies, roadmaps, implementation plans, crisis management plans, response plans, and maintenance plans.

- Engage with business heads and staff to discuss and execute impact assessment studies, risk assessment studies, and implement BC/DR strategies.

- Develop and implement response plans, resilience plans, and establish crisis management teams and processes.

- Create policies and procedures for BC/DR requirements, including setups on public and private cloud platforms.

- Design incident response plans for specific scenarios.

- Deliver training to senior management and client teams on business continuity, response plans, and crisis management.

- Successfully execute at least two projects in business continuity domains.

- Ensure compliance with the ISO 22301 framework and related requirements.

- Utilize relevant BCM tools and techniques to develop, manage, and roll out business continuity initiatives.

- Prepare detailed reports, policies, and documentation, and present findings to clients.

- Support business development efforts, including proposal creation and presentations.

- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure engagement success across multiple industries.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

- Proficient in structured business continuity methodologies and frameworks, especially ISO 22301.

- Hands-on experience with BCM tools and technologies.

- Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 31000, or similar standards is a plus.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:.

- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

- Experience in training and implementation of BC/DR solutions.

Certifications (Preferred):

- Mandatory: ISO 22301, CISA, or certifications from BCI/DRII.

- Additional: Certifications in GRC, ISO 27001, or ISO 31000.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Management, Finance, or a related field.

- CA qualification is an added advantage.

Other Requirements:

- Proficiency in Excel and excellent documentation skills.
