General Manager

SMC Foods Limited (Madhusudan Brand) is seeking a General Manager - Sales for Assam and Odisha states. The ideal candidate should have good geographical knowledge of both states areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the company's food products (SMP, DW, GHEE, UHT, FRESH CREAM, GULAB JAMUN MIX).

Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance on product knowledge, customer engagement, and negotiation techniques.

Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop joint solutions with customers.

Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy development.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to sales operations.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 7-10 years of experience as General Manager - Sales.

2. At least 5 years of experience working with a single company.

3. Experience working with reputable FMCG (food) companies.

4. Geographical knowledge of Assam and Odisha states areas.
