Responsibilities
1. Planning and Development:
- Ensure alignment with educational standards and requirements.
- Develop and implement content development plans, ensuring adherence to client guidelines and educational standards.
2. Content Creation:
- Oversee the development of textbooks, workbooks, and supplementary materials.
- Ensure that content is accurate, age-appropriate, and pedagogically sound.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Implement a rigorous quality assurance process to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of educational content.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates to keep content current and relevant.
4. Project Management:
- Develop and maintain project timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with various teams, including editorial, project management, design, and production, to ensure timely delivery of content.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with clients, vendors and other stakeholders to gather feedback on content.
- Use feedback to make continuous improvements to the content development process.
5. Market Research:
- Stay informed about educational trends, pedagogical methodologies, and changes in curriculum standards.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and technologies.
- Proven experience in managing teams and overseeing educational content development projects.
- Understanding of diverse learning styles and inclusive education practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A deep understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles is essential. Should be able to spot potential issues related to representation, inclusivity, and cultural sensitivity in content.
- Science and Mathematics subject specialization
- 4+years of experience is required.
