General Manager - Investor Relations (10-15 yrs)

Our client, a leading chain of luxury properties in India backed by a large Global Private Equity player, is looking to hire a General Manager- Investor Relations to enhance the organization's financial image. The successful candidate will work on developing a strong investor relations strategy and drive the company to a successful IPO.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing the communication between the company and its investors, stakeholders, and financial community. This position is key in driving the company's financial performance, aligning investor expectations with the company's strategic goals, and ensuring transparency in financial reporting.

Investor Relations Strategy:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.

- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective investors, analysts, and key stakeholders.

- Build a comprehensive and effective strategy to communicate with investors in a coherent and concise manner.

- Enhance the company's reputation within the financial community by promoting transparent and accurate communication of the Company's performance and growth objective to the investors.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Actively participate in the preparation of investor presentations, quarterly earnings reports, annual reports, and other financial disclosures.

- Analyze market trends, financial statements, and industry benchmarks to inform stakeholders of the company's financial health.

- Monitor the performance of the company assets, including revenue, occupancy rates, profitability metrics, capital expenditure and ROI projects.

- Track Indian and global public listed peers' earnings and reporting's to analyse performance and trends.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as the main point of contact for investor queries and concerns.

- Coordinate meetings, roadshows, and conferences with investors, analysts, and stakeholders to discuss the company's performance and outlook.

- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop messaging that reflects the company's strategy and growth potential.

- Work with FPA team to come up with detailed FAQs and scripts as reference points for investor discussions

Strategic Planning & Forecasting:

- Work closely with the finance team to prepare forecasts, budgets (including detailed business plan), and strategic plans.

- Support the executive team in identifying growth opportunities, joint ventures, and acquisitions.

- Provide insights on investor sentiment and market conditions to influence strategic decision-making.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and investor communication.

- Manage the risks associated with investor relations by maintaining a proactive communication strategy.

- Oversee the preparation of disclosures in line with corporate governance standards.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in investor relations, financial management, or a related role, within the hospitality industry. Candidates with experience in public listed companies and familiarity for reporting requirements for public companies preferred.

Skills: Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and capital markets, Proven track record of interacting with investors and delivering impactful presentations.

Education: Bachelors in Finance , MBA preferred
