About the Role :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Data Scientist at Colan Infotech in Bangalore.

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for tasks such as data analysis, data visualization, and data analytics to drive insights and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models, with a strong focus on NLP and LLMs.

- Conduct in-depth data analysis, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.

- Develop and implement data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, processing, and transformation.

- Leverage Azure OpenAI Services and other cognitive services to build cutting-edge AI solutions.

- Develop and deploy GPT-based modules in production environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, business analysts) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, particularly in the areas of NLP and LLMs.

- Conduct research and experimentation to explore new AI/ML techniques and their applications.

- Mentor junior data scientists and share knowledge within the team.

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in the Data Science domain.

- Proficiency in LLM (Language Model), NLP (Natural Language Processing).

- Experience with Azure OpenAI services and other cognitive services.

- Experience in deploying GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) modules in production.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Experience with machine learning algorithms (e., classification, regression, clustering, deep learning).

- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Master's or Ph.in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

- Publications in relevant academic or industry conferences
