ScienceLogic Engineer - IT Infrastructure (8-12 yrs)

Job Description :

- Professional with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in Enterprise Monitoring, Event Management, Infrastructure Discovery, Automation, and Powerflow Integration.

- Hands-on experience with ScienceLogic and Power flow.

- Proficiency in installing and configuring ScienceLogic components.

- Expertise in configuring Dynamic Applications, Business Services, Dashboards, and Reports.

- Strong background in Application and Infrastructure Monitoring.

- Experience configuring monitors using technologies such as SNMP, SSH, WMI, and WinRM.

- Hands-on experience with infrastructure discovery through the ScienceLogic platform and onboarding server infrastructure onto the SL platform.

- Ability to collect, generate, or refine high-level requirements, create implementation strategies, define acceptance criteria (with customer input), and develop test cases.

- Experience in ScienceLogic System Administration.

- Proficiency in ScienceLogic Agent installation, silo configuration, and management.

- Extensive knowledge in building, designing, and deploying Powerpacks.

- Strong understanding of SNMP, MIBs, SSH, Shell, Python, and PowerShell.

- Proven ability to coordinate with support teams to resolve issues and work with vendors on patches, fixes, and version upgrades.

- Excellent communication skills and customer relationship management.

- Capability to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Runbooks, and Knowledge Base (KB) articles for operations support.

- Experience with event management functionality.
