Salesforce Automation Engineer - Selenium/Cucumber Testing (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Plan Development : Develop detailed and comprehensive test plans for Salesforce applications.

- Automation Strategy : Design and implement strategic automation tools to improve the quality of Salesforce products.

- Test Automation : Develop and maintain automation scripts using Karate, Selenium, and Cucumber for Salesforce applications.

- Testing Execution : Execute both manual and automated test scripts, covering Salesforce app functionality and UI.

- API & UI Testing : Conduct thorough API and Salesforce UI tests to validate functionality and ensure optimal user experience.

- Regression Testing : Perform comprehensive regression testing to ensure new features do not affect existing functionality.

- Defect Documentation : Identify, document, and track defects thoroughly using Agile project management tools.

- Quality Metrics : Track and report quality assurance metrics to measure testing progress and results.

- Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in an Agile team of 6-8 software engineers, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with new testing tools, technologies, and strategies to improve testing efficiency.

Qualifications/Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.

- 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing automation scripts for Salesforce applications using Karate, Selenium, and Cucumber.

- 5+ years of experience in quality and test engineering, with proven expertise in writing automated test cases, conducting functional and performance tests, and managing defects.

- 3+ years of experience in developing automated tests for web/mobile applications and REST APIs.

- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile development processes.

- Ability to work independently and within an Agile team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
