Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Database RAC Consultant with over 10 years of experience in the IT BFSI domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and optimizing Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) in high-demand environments, leading teams, and driving database strategies that enhance performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle RAC databases in a mission-critical environment.

Oversee database performance tuning, backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.

Manage and mentor a team of database administrators, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and performance optimization.

Develop and enforce best practices for database security, monitoring, and compliance within the BFSI sector.

Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure database scalability and performance.

Engage in disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in Oracle RAC database administration, in the BFSI domain.

Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database architecture.

Proven leadership experience in managing database teams and projects.
