AWS DevOps Freelance Trainer

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced AWS Dev Ops Freelance Trainer to deliver high-quality training sessions in our training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SDLC Automation

a. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-account and multi-region environments.

b. Integrate automated testing processes (unit, integration, acceptance, UI, security) into CI/CD pipelines.

c. Manage artifact creation, secure storage, and lifecycle considerations.

d. Deploy applications using instance, container, and serverless platforms, utilizing tools like CodeDeploy and EC2 Image Builder.

2. Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

a. Define reusable components and automate AWS infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools.

b. Implement change management for IaC platforms and ensure configuration compliance across environments.

c. Design solutions for onboarding and securing AWS accounts in multi-account setups.

3. Resilient Cloud Solutions

a. Build highly available, scalable, and disaster-resilient solutions leveraging Multi-AZ and multi-region architectures.

b. Automate backup, recovery, and failover processes to meet RTO and RPO requirements.

c. Implement serverless and distributed architectures to optimize scalability.

4. Monitoring and Logging

a. Configure and manage log and metric collection using AWS services like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.

b. Automate event management and implement health monitoring solutions with tools like EventBridge, SNS, and Lambda.

c. Analyze logs and metrics to detect issues and ensure operational compliance.

5. Incident and Event Response

a. Design event-driven architectures and implement solutions for event capture, notification, and action using AWS services.

b. Troubleshoot system and application failures using tools like AWS Health, X-Ray, and OpsCenter.

c. Perform root cause analysis to enhance system reliability and performance.

6. Security and Compliance

a. Implement IAM policies for scalable identity and access management.

b. Automate security controls, network security, and data encryption using AWS services (e.g., WAF, Shield, GuardDuty).

c. Conduct security monitoring and auditing to identify vulnerabilities and threats.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, ECS, EKS, and RDS.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools and practices (CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray) and logging frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of networking, security groups, VPCs, and ACLs.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to automate processes using scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in AWS DevOps or a similar role.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and deliver solutions in agile environments.
