Highly skilled and experienced Workday Integration Lead to lead the design, development, and maintenance of Workday integrations. As the Integration Lead, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex Workday integration projects, ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and external systems. This role requires strong technical skills, deep understanding of Workdays integration tools, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integration Design and Development: Lead the design and development of integrations between Workday and other internal/external systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Workday Tools Expertise: Utilize Workdays integration tools such as Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and Cloud Connect to develop and maintain integrations.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership for the integration team, offering guidance on best practices for integration development and problem-solving.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, IT, etc.) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for integrations.
- Project Management: Lead integration projects from start to finish, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment, while managing timelines and deliverables.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing of all integrations, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations, including data flows, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all integrations are secure and comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). Monitor integration performance and security protocols regularly.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving integration processes and implement innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency.
Necessary Skills and Competencies:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in integration development, with a minimum of 2 years working with Workday integrations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, Cloud Connect, and other Workday integration tools.
- Programming Skills: Experience in languages like XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, Java, or Python for developing and troubleshooting integrations.
- Project Management: Proven experience in leading and managing complex integration projects. Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to solve technical integration issues quickly and effectively.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and Finance, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business terms.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science , Information Technology, or a related field.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Workday Integration certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
