Aem Developer

The core responsibility of the Development Manager role is to take day-to-day responsibilities of leading the AEM development team, heading technical architecture and design activities and performing hands-on duties of a senior software developer. The Development Manager maintains accountability for the quality of produced work and team leadership tasks, responsible for taking active part in project delivery and the professional development and retention of simply brilliant talent for their team, to ensure consistency and quality in accordance with development standards. CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 5 years minimum of commercial experience as an AEM developer, preferably in an environment working on projects for multiple clients
• Solid knowledge and commercial experience of the AEM as a Cloud Service
• Solid knowledge and experience of AEM back-end development and the modern AEM technology stack (Java, Maven, Project Archetype, etc.)
• Knowledge of AEM Assets, Forms, Adobe Analytics and Launch.
• Adobe AEM Certification is essential
• Strong knowledge of relevant front-end technologies (HTML, Javascript, and CSS)
• Solid knowledge and experience of working with Git as part of a team
• Experience in implementing and maintaining AEMaCS deployment pipelines
• Experience of integrating AEM with other Experience Cloud and third-party applications
• Good experience in leading a team of developers, preferably performing line manager duties

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be responsible for development and delivering AEM solutions in various projects
• Be accountable for the quality of produced work and accuracy of provided time estimations
• Take leading parts in problem solving and issue investigation
• Leading the technology stack and development approach choice and implementation
• Implementing and documenting of the Technical Design and Architecture
• Explaining the Design and Architecture to the development team
• Establishing, improving and implementing working processes and standards
• Providing technical support of existing software projects
• Implementing and monitoring of the company security policies

TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Leading the AEM development team
• Ensuring the dev team has got sufficient skills to perform the day-to-day tasks
• Mentoring, guiding and providing support to the team members
• Performing the line manager duties
• Taking active part in the recruitment process, providing required job specs, attending the interviews, etc.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

• Taking active part in the company R&D activities, assisting other teams and providing technical expertise
• Seeking for the new trends in the software development area, evaluating and implementing new technologies and tools
• Constantly working on improving our development standards to ensure high quality and efficiency of produced work

CLIENT & COMMS

• Being able to represent the company in front of the clients
• Taking part in client meetings, especially in the beginning phases of the projects to analyze the project requirements and specifics.
• Being able to efficiently communicate with other teams of the company, understand briefs and requirements, and provide comprehensive feedback.
