Python Developer

Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Python and FastAPI, Flask.
• Handle server-side WSGI/ASGI/FASTcgi implementation and deployment with Uvicorn,Gunicorn using nginx on linux systems.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch.
• Understanding of Pythons threading restrictions and multiprocess architecture.
• Well versed with and quick to debug and troubleshoot bugs or production issues.

Machine Learning & Data Science:

• Collaborate with data teams to implement machine learning models into production.
• Work with large datasets and perform ETL tasks when required.
• Implement and monitor data pipelines, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Experience with OpenAPI models and API.

Linux System Management:

• Manage application deployment and server administration in Linux environments.
• Ensure application uptime, security, and performance using best practices.

Code Quality, Collaboration & Project Delivery:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services for deployment and scaling applications
• Expertise in API security, authentication (OAuth, JWT)
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub or Azure Devops for version control and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot functional, performance & security issues for optimal behaviour of apps.
• Own code quality from development to production
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and adherence to standards
• Continuously improve development processes and optimize performance
• Follows the existing establish api development standards and practices
• Collaborate with onsite and offsite team for seamless project execution.
• Ready to adapt new technologies and methods for project success and timely delivery.
• PoC new concepts and draw comparison between the solutions.
