Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the HR Head in designing and implementing effective salary structures aligned with the organization's HR strategy and overall compensation budget.
- Facilitate salary and incentive disbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
Payroll Management:
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and error-free disbursement of salaries and incentives.
- Manage leave and attendance records using HRIS systems, coordinating with vendors for system updates and maintenance.
- Resolve payroll-related issues and ensure all employee queries are addressed promptly.
Audit Support for Payroll and Compensation:
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for auditing payroll and compensation processes.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements, providing accurate and timely data to auditors.
- Collaborate with external audit agencies to streamline audit processes.
Quarterly Provisioning and Reporting:
- Calculate quarterly provisions for leave, bonuses, gratuity, and headcount comparisons.
- Provide necessary data to accounts and related departments for actuarial provisions and reporting.
- Generate detailed reports on payroll and compensation metrics to support decision-making.
Statutory Compliance and Licensing:
- Support compliance with statutory regulations, including the Contract Labor Act, Shops & Establishments Act, Annual Returns, Factory License, and other applicable laws.
- Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of licenses and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with relevant authorities to address compliance and licensing requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree or certification in payroll/HR compliance is a plus.
- 4-6 years of experience in payroll management, compensation structuring, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software, with hands-on experience in attendance and leave management tools.
