As an Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust integration solutions to facilitate seamless customer onboarding and ensure long-term customer success.
Your key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for integration solutions.
Developing, configuring, customizing, and deploying integration solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies such as SQL and Data Build Tool (DBT) to create and manage data pipelines, while ensuring strict adherence to best practices and standards.
Performing data cleansing, mapping, and transformation tasks to facilitate seamless data flow between different systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Identifying and resolving integration issues, errors, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner, leveraging expert-level spreadsheet skills for troubleshooting, reconciliation, and analysis.
Conducting thorough testing and validation of integration solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, security, and compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and workflows using documents, flowcharts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clean code.
Communicating effectively with customers and stakeholders to address integration requirements, provide updates on project status, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Taking ownership of integration projects from conception to delivery, ensuring successful implementation within defined timelines and budget constraints.
Staying updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in integration engineering, and proactively recommending and implementing improvements to enhance integration capabilities and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven relevant experience of 2 years in integration engineering or a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of integration concepts, methodologies, and technologies.
Technical Proficiency
a. Hands-on experience with SQL and Data Build Tool (DBT) for data modelling and transformation. b. Experience with RESTful web services, JSON, XML, and other integration protocols is preferred. c. Optional proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with integration frameworks such as MuleSoft, Boomi, etc
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills a. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and implement effective solutions. b. Expert-level proficiency in spreadsheets, including filter, sort and advanced features like pivot tables. c. Proficient in efficiently utilising keyboard shortcuts and other productivity tools to navigate within various systems and applications, enhancing productivity and workflow efficiency.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and liaise with stakeholders.
