The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, particularly with Selenium and Java, and will be familiar with various CI/CD tools. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software applications through comprehensive testing and automation practices. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber. Build and maintain automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring high reliability and efficiency. Perform end-to-end testing of applications, including API testing and performance testing using JMeter. Utilize CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) to integrate testing processes into the development pipeline. Conduct cross-browser testing to ensure application compatibility across different platforms. Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle. Write and execute SQL queries for backend testing and validation. Provide detailed test reports and documentation to stakeholders. Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies. Must-Have Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in end-to-end automation testing using Selenium, Java, and TestNG. Strong coding skills in Java and experience in writing complex automation scripts. Proficient with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle. Extensive experience in using RemoteDriver for test execution in multiple VMs or remote environments. Strong experience in SQL for database validation, including writing complex queries and understanding database concepts. Familiarity with REST API testing (using tools like Rest Assured) and performance testing using JMeter. Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch and exposure to various automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model). Solid understanding of cross-browser testing techniques and tools, including responsiveness and usability testing. Ability to analyze requirements and develop test cases based on functional and non-functional specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software. Good-to-Have Qualifications: Experience with Cypress for automation testing. Knowledge of additional testing tools and frameworks. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Understanding of version control practices and branching strategies in Git.
