**Job Description**

As a Business Development Trainee at CHINT Group, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence in the solar and battery energy storage industry, particularly focusing on C&I projects. Your primary responsibilities will involve identifying potential clients, building and maintaining relationships, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver tailored energy solutions.


**Responsibilities**

- Develop and maintain a robust network within the Indian solar industry, engaging with customers across the South India.

- Conduct outreach to prospective clients, effectively communicating CHINT's value proposition in solar and energy storage solutions.

- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

- Collaborate with technical teams to align customer requirements with our product offerings, ensuring optimal solutions.

- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and strategies, providing regular feedback to inform business development tactics.

- Support the development of new customers in designated business areas, contributing to the expansion of CHINT's market share.

- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and customer interactions.


**Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an MBA with an emphasis on technology or energy.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.

- Technical knowledge of solar power plants, inverters, and energy storage systems is preferred.

- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

- Ability to travel frequently and work flexibly from Bengaluru/Chennai.

- Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.
