Graduation in BE/B. Tech. or equivalent (full-time) & Post Graduation in MBA/PGDM - HR or equivalent preferable
18 - 25 years of experience in Technical Trainings
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide insights to define the philosophy, strategy, road map and goals for the technical training and talent function aligned with the overall HR strategy and business growth plans
Develop annual and medium-term priorities, goals and KRAs for technical L&OD within business in
sync with the overall business plans.
Basis prescribed guidelines, generate and finalize BU technical training budgets in consultation with the Group Heads
Ensure adherence to budgets at the BU level; Address budget overruns if any
Organizational Sustainability & Branding:
Create plans to ensure adoption of Adani Behavioral Competency Framework in all training processes at the BU level
Participate in technical training councils to share talent management insights and best practices; Oversee implementation and adherence to the action plans
Execute plans to align technical L&OD processes to the established band/grade matrix at the BU level
Evaluate, shortlist and provide suggestions for partner empanelment; Track partner performance and conduct timely reviews to ensure quality, timelines and budgetary considerations
Cultivate strategic relationships with partners and effectively leverage them for value additions to Adani and thereby, promote Adani brand
L&OD Framework:
Collaborate with the Group L&OD Head to formulate the overall policy; Create communication plan to familiarize employees with the established policy at the BU level
Share BU insights with the Group L&OD Head for updating the policy from time to time
Define the capability building framework mapping out tools, methods, interventions and nomination criteria for all BU run programs within the purview of Group guidelines; Ensure adherence to the same.
L&OD Process:
Training Needs Identification
Evaluate and document the training requirements for the business and prepare a technical training calendar for learning initiatives in the light of resource availability and seek approval
Solution Design
Design relevant training programs at the BU level; Develop instructional material, creative learning assets to enhance the program delivery mechanism and the overall learning experience in collaboration with key business stakeholders
Invite nominations for the scheduled BU level trainings and finalize the list of participants
Training Delivery
Determine the mode and format of training delivery by considering several factors like criticality, cost, quality, expertise, etc.
Ensure delivery of the interventions in alliance with internal & external stakeholders,
SMEs & the trainers
Execute all training related activities including invites and infrastructure related arrangements
Ascertain maintenance of training records and reports on individual progress
Training Efficacy
Partner with Group L&OD Head to define suitable metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning and development efforts; Prepare appropriate reporting platform on these metrics for informed management decision on L&OD investments and priorities
Track and report L&OD metrics to various stakeholders on a periodic basis
Continuously evaluate the efficiency of the training programs and strive towards reducing the knowledge gap
Ascertain maintenance of training records and reports on individual progress
HR Technology & Analytics:
Manage suite of L&OD technology products (LMS and others) and platforms for the business in adherence to Group guidelines
Recognize areas that can be potentially automated or enhanced with technology and collaborate with the relevant partners to design the solution for upgradation and enhancement
Facilitate and promote usage of the existing L&OD for recording, approval and reporting purposes
Tap into strategic employee information using data analytics and generate meaningful insights to enhance systems and processes
Execute smooth operations for any ongoing/ upcoming automation initiatives for L&OD
