Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Operate cash registers, scanners, and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges according to store policies.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Follow store policies regarding sales, promotions, and returns.
• Balance cash drawer and report discrepancies to management.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise when necessary.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong mathematical and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Basic computer and POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge.
