Job Description

Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialisation to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

5+ years of proven Experience in IBM Cognos 10 and/or11, Cognos Framework Manager, Cognos Data Module, Cognos Analytics Reports, Cognos Analytics Dashboards and Stories.
Thorough knowledge of Cognos development and administration, Business intelligence, and data warehousing concepts, report and application development, Cognos testing, and troubleshooting, BI documentation, and end-user support.
Good knowledge in SQL, debugging report issues and performance improvements.
knowledge of any of the below Data Warehouse & BI technologies will be considered as a plus:
o RDBMS (DB2, MSSQL Server, Oracle, etc.), Scripting, etc.
o Automation Tools (Control-M, Oracle Workflow, etc.)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Exp : 5 to 8 Yrs
Location : Chennai
Mode of work : all 5 days work from office in ODC
