Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the JDE Consulting Services team in India as a Delivery Director.
This pivotal role involves spearheading strategic initiatives, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving excellence in delivery.
The candidate will play a crucial role in mentoring a diverse team, optimizing operational metrics, and contributing to the organization's thought leadership and innovation strategies.
What You'll Do:
Leadership and Team Management:.
- Provide visionary leadership to the India team of JDE consultants, solution architects, and project managers.
- Foster a culture of professional growth, innovation, excellence, and global collaboration within the consulting team.
- Set clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans for direct reports.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills, improve consulting soft skills, and client engagement acumen.
Operational Metrics :
- Responsible for key metrics like - Utilization, Pyramid structure, Cost per employee for the practice.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Provide assistance during pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our services.
- Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
Project Delivery and Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements as needed, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards.
- Act as an escalation point for project issues and conflicts, providing guidance and resolution strategies as needed.
- Monitor project financials, resource utilization, and profitability to optimize project performance and margins.
Solution Development and Innovation:.
- Lead the development and enhancement of solutions and methodologies to meet evolving client needs and industry trends.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and market trends in the consulting space.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to leverage expertise and resources for solution innovation and differentiation.
Practice Development and Thought Leadership:
- In accordance with the strategic direction by the GDC Head, lead and grow the India Practice team.
- Provide guidance and learning paths for the India team to improve technical skills, functional knowledge and additional tools.
- Engage in thought leadership activities such as publishing articles, speaking at conferences, and participating in industry forums.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the practice, leveraging feedback, metrics, and industry benchmarks to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Recruit, interview and grow the India practice.
Vendor Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with Oracle and other third-party vendors to ensure support and alignment with business objectives.
- Build and nurture business relationships with vendors supplying contingent workforce.
- Manage the contingent workforce and keep track of their performance and productivity.
Innovation, Intellectual Property (IPs), and Industry Solutions :
- Drive innovation by developing and promoting IPs and industry-specific solutions.
- This includes identifying emerging trends and market needs, designing tailored solutions that address these needs, and ensuring these innovations enhance the company's competitive advantage.
- A strong focus on delivering value-added, cutting-edge solutions will be essential.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience implementing Oracle , with at least 10 years in a leadership role within a consulting firm.
- Strong understanding of consulting methodologies, project management practices, and delivery frameworks (e.g , Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong project management skills with experience in leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing consulting teams, driving business growth, and achieving revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire both internal teams and external clients.
