Senior Engineer - MATLAB (6-7 yrs)

What You'll Do (Job Role) :

- System Modelling and Simulation : Develop and maintain high-fidelity MATLAB and Simulink models for space and defense applications, including spacecraft, radar systems, communication protocols, and missile defense systems.

- Algorithm Development : Design and implement advanced algorithms for data analysis, signal processing, control systems, communications and fixed-point utilizing MATLAB toolboxes and functionalities.

- Data Analysis : Analyze large datasets from simulations or real-world system tests, and use MATLAB to develop insights, generate reports, and visualize key metrics.

- Tool Development : Create custom MATLAB models and scripts to automate repetitive tasks, improve workflows, and enhance the efficiency of engineering teams working on defense and space projects.

- Testing and Validation : Perform system testing, validation, and verification of MATLAB models, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to project requirements.

- Collaboration : Work closely with system engineers, software developers, and hardware teams to integrate MATLAB models with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations and real-time systems.

- Optimization : Optimize system performance by fine-tuning models, algorithms, and code to meet stringent computational, memory, and power requirements typical in space and defense systems.

- Documentation : Prepare detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, test plans, model descriptions, and performance reports.

Who You Are?

- 6+ years of experience working with MATLAB and Simulink in a professional environment, preferably within the defence or aerospace industry.

- Expertise in MATLAB toolboxes such as Signal Processing, Control Systems, Aerospace, Communications, fixed-point and Simulink.

- Proven experience with modelling and simulation of systems used in aerospace, satellite, radar, or missile defense applications.

- Strong understanding of system dynamics, control theory, signal processing, and data analysis.

- Ability to develop complex algorithms and optimize code for real-time applications.

- Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, real-time simulations, and integrating MATLAB with other software and hardware systems.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on complex projects with tight deadlines
