Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP solutions to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with functional consultants to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEF).
• Optimize and enhance existing ABAP programs to improve performance and functionality.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the SAP system and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ABAP developments with other SAP modules.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior ABAP developers.
• Participate in project planning, including defining the technical scope and estimating effort.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.
• Ensure compliance with SAP security and governance standards.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Proficient in ABAP programming, including reports, forms (AdobeForms, SmartForms, SAPscript), module pool programming, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancement points.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI, CO, PM, WM, PP) and their integration points.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ODATA, and Fiori development is a plus.
• Knowledge of ABAP Objects (OOP) and modern ABAP programming techniques.
• Familiarity with SAP enhancement frameworks such as user exits, BAdIs, and enhancement spots.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP HANA and CDS views.
• Experience with ODATA.
• Knowledge of SAP UI5 and Fiori development.
• Experience with SAP Workflow and Process Integration (PI/PO).
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is highly preferred.
