Job Description

Accounting:

• Ensure reconciliation of bank books on a daily basis and a sign off on a weekly basis and follow up on un-reconciled items, if any.
• Preparation of monthly financial statements together with analysis of costs; ensure appropriate measures are in place for cost controls.
• Provide support to the business team on Software Projects ; discuss on customer billings based on project execution and sign off for all software deliveries.
• Preparation of year end financial statements as per applicable Accounting Standards; co-ordinate with the Auditors for closure.
• To ensure there are no revenue leakages in annual support contract for software by constant monitoring of MIS and having proper internal check and controls.

Taxation and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with GST Act on a monthly basis and filing of monthly returns within due dates and ensure proper documentation of input credits and reversal of in-eligible credits.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act for deduction and payment of TDS within due dates and filing of quarterly returns thereof;
• Filing of requisite forms for all outward remittances and co-ordination with bankers for remittance thereof.
• Ensure monthly filing of returns with STPI within due dates and maintaining requisite documentation
• Filing of Income Tax returns for the company and communicating with the authorities for all intimations / notices etc received from time to time.
• Maintenance of minutes book for all Board Minutes, AGM and Extra- Ordinary meetings, if any.
• Co-ordination for filing of Financials and Annual Returns with Ministry of Corporate Affairs within due dates on a yearly basis and such other Forms as may be applicable from time to time.

Treasury:

• Co-ordinate with the bankers for obtaining best rates for parking of liquid funds in deposits.
• Analysis of all investments made in shares / Mutual Funds and to discuss with the management to take appropriate action for closure / booking of profits / cut loss of investments.

General :

• To monitor and to control cost / expenditure wherever possible
• Vetting of clients Software agreements , AMC agreements etc
• Vetting of Tender documents
