Major responsibilities will include:
Developing win-win relationships with external stakeholders, especially State Excise Departments, State Finance and Revenue Departments, other regulatory bodies and government departments. The role is strategic in nature and has significant impact on Carlbergs Operations.
➢
Existing working relationship in the State Excise and Revenue departments (Excise Commissioners, Joint Commissioners, Principal Secretary etc) in Southern States (like Karnataka, Telangana, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh)
➢
supporting and improving regulatory compliance by facilitating timely licenses, approvals and other regulatory clearances to run the business without disruptions.
➢
Co-ordinating with State (Sales) heads, Brewery heads, Supply Chain and other regional teams to maintain the tracker for expediting the various Operational and Policy issues impacting the business
➢
Supporting Policy advocacy initiatives with State governments and other stakeholders on Ease of Doing Business, Pricing issues, Excise Duty Structure reforms, Responsible Drinking. Knowledge of Regulatory and Policy issues impacting the Beer / Alcobev Industry is highly desirable.
➢
Proactively providing inputs and influencing policy/regulatory legislations that affect the company’s business.
➢
Handling various issues related to operations, marketing, regulatory, finance, taxation, etc. as and when they arise.
Candidate Profile:
Education –Graduate degree in Public Policy, Law, Communication is preferred
Language Proficiency – English, Telugu, Hindi

Outstanding communication, presentation and influencing skills and competencies combined with strong social networking skills are essential for the role.

Candidate should come with a high degree of energy to support a very vibrant and achievement-oriented team at Carlsberg
➢
Role is strategic in nature and requires the candidate to have strong business acumen, leadership skills, analytic bent of mind to understand implications of policy on the business. Person should be and boardroom savvy and be able to speak up their mind.
