Role Purpose:
- The Product Manager will play a key role in managing the product lifecycle of our Animal Nutrition portfolio, focusing primarily on the poultry sector liquid product.
- This role will involve product strategy, market research, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product positioning and growth in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement product strategies that align with the company's business goals for the Animal Nutrition division.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including new product development, launch, and ongoing product enhancements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to develop product positioning, promotional plans, and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to improve market share and profitability.
- Provide training and support to the sales team on product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
- Work with the regulatory team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure products meet market demands.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
An MBA in Marketing or Product Management is a plus.
- 1-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the animal nutrition or poultry industry.
- Strong understanding of animal nutrition, particularly in the poultry sector.
- Proven ability to manage product portfolios and drive business growth through effective product strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as needed for market research and customer interactions
