3. Item Development Manager
- Manage item development within a specific state project.
- Develop and monitor a team of Test Developers
- Writes, reviews, and finalizes blueprints and translates them into an effective item pool development plan
- Works with client independently to establish yearly pool needs and constructed response scoring dates
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in subject area (Math, ELA, Science or Social Studies) or Bachelor s degree in related assessment or measurement field AND experience in large scale assessment
- Prior experience in the summative, certification, or other high stakes assessment industry is required
- Proven knowledge and experience with the U.S. Education and Education Assessment is required
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to identify problems, conceptualize solutions, prioritize and multi-task
- Skilled at collaboration
- Travel for this position ranges from 1 to 6 weeks per year. Candidates should be able to travel as required for 2-3 days at a time, mostly in the June/July time frame.
