We are seeking a highly skilled NAS Storage Domain Testing Engineer with expertise in designing libraries and automation test frameworks, specifically within hyperscaler environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring the reliability and performance of network-attached storage solutions and will contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Create and maintain test libraries and automation frameworks for NAS storage systems to ensure robust testing processes.
Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and security of NAS solutions.
Test Strategy: Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including performance, capacity, and reliability testing specific to NAS storage environments.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the development lifecycle.
Hyperscaler Environments: Conduct testing in hyperscaler environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency of NAS solutions in cloud architectures.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Troubleshooting: Analyze and debug issues in NAS storage systems, working with engineering teams to resolve defects and optimize performance.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in storage testing, automation, and hyperscaler technologies.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in storage domain testing, with a strong focus on NAS systems.
Automation Skills: Proven experience in designing and implementing automation test frameworks; proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Hyperscaler :Expertise: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their storage services.
Performance Testing Tools: Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., Iometer, Fio).
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of storage protocols (e.g., NFS, SMB, iSCSI) and file systems.
Understanding of virtualization technologies and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
