About the Role:
- We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
- In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our market presence and achieving ambitious sales targets.
- You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Forecasting & Planning:
- Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking within your assigned territory.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Implement promotional activities, offers, and discounts to drive sales growth.
- Minimize product returns from retail outlets.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives
- Monitor and evaluate team performance.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve individual and team goals.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Negotiate sales prices and discounts in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Follow up with prospects to secure sales deals.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Provide excellent after-sales support to customers.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
Operations & Reporting:
- Monitor and control sales expenses within budget limits.
- Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to monitor sales activities and ensure compliance with marketing initiatives.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and propose future strategies.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to the National Sales Head.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales-related activities, including contracts, agreements, and customer data.
- Provide regular feedback on dealer and distributor performance to the National Sales Head.
- Prepare and submit regular collection reports to the National Sales Head.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a Business Development or Sales Manager role within the beauty or FMCG industry (preferred)
- Strong understanding of sales principles and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed
