Job Title : Business Analyst - Adonis
Location : Offshore
Contract Duration : 12 Months (Ongoing)
Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Business Analyst with specialized expertise in Adonis cruise line software.
This role will serve as a critical bridge between our business operations and technology teams, focusing on the configuration, integration, and optimization of the Adonis platform.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cruise line operations and the technical intricacies of Adonis, enabling them to drive efficiency and innovation through effective system management.
Key Responsibilities :
Adonis Configuration and Optimization :
- Configure and customize Adonis modules (HR, payroll, scheduling, crew management, etc.) to precisely align with evolving business requirements and operational workflows.
- Optimize system performance through fine-tuning configurations, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing best practices.
- Conduct thorough system audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and optimal functionality.
- Business Requirements Analysis and Technical Translation :
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders across various departments.
- Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable technical specifications for Adonis configurations and integrations.
- Develop and maintain functional and non-functional requirements documents.
System Integration and Interoperability :
- Design and implement seamless integrations between Adonis and other cruise line enterprise systems (e.g., PMS, financial systems, etc.) using APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across integrated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.
Collaboration and Communication :
- Work closely with IT development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful system implementation and support.
- Conduct regular meetings and workshops to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
System Testing and Troubleshooting :
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate system functionality and performance.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to Adonis configurations, integrations, and performance.
- Provide timely and effective support to end-users during system testing and deployment.
Documentation and Training :
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for Adonis configurations, workflows, integrations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective system utilization.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles.
Continuous Improvement and Industry Awareness :
- Stay abreast of the latest Adonis software updates, enhancements, and industry best practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, functionality, and user experience.
- Recommend and implement innovative solutions to address evolving business challenges.
Required Skills & Experience :
Adonis Expertise :
- Extensive hands-on experience with Adonis software, including deep knowledge of its modules and functionalities.
- Proven ability to configure, customize, and optimize Adonis to meet specific business needs.
- Strong understanding of Adonis data structures, workflows, and integration capabilities.
Cruise Line Industry Knowledge :
- Significant experience working within the cruise line industry, with a thorough understanding of its operational processes and challenges.
- Familiarity with crew management, payroll, scheduling, and other critical cruise line functions.
Technical Skills :
- Strong understanding of system integration principles and technologies, including APIs, web services, and data mapping.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g. , Crystal Reports, SSRS) for generating custom reports.
- Familiarity with system customization and scripting languages (if applicable).
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills :
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills :
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and training sessions.
Project Management Skills :
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with other cruise line enterprise systems (e.g. , Fidelio Cruise, ShipServ).
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to crew management, payroll, and maritime operations.
- Background in IT project management or business process improvement methodologies (e.g. , Agile, Lean).
- Experience in training and mentoring teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
