Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with expertise in Django and Celery to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable web applications, developing RESTful APIs, and implementing asynchronous task processing using Celery. This role requires a strong background in relational databases, message brokers, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Web Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Django.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Implement and maintain data models using PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Task Scheduling & Asynchronous Processing

• Design and implement asynchronous workflows using Celery.
• Integrate Celery with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Redis for distributed task execution.
• Monitor and troubleshoot task bottlenecks to ensure efficiency and scalability.

Software Development Practices

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests for robust application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the development workflow.

Performance Optimization

• Identify and resolve performance issues in web applications and background tasks.
• Optimize database queries and ensure applications are scalable and efficient.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and stakeholders to define application requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation for all developed features, workflows, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Python & Django: Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
• Celery: Hands-on experience with Celery for task scheduling and asynchronous processing.
• Message Brokers: Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Redis for message handling.
• Databases & ORM: Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and ORM tools.
• RESTful APIs: Solid understanding of API design and implementation.
• Version Control: Experience using Git for collaborative workflows.
• Containerization: Knowledge of Docker for deploying applications.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying Django/Celery-based applications.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with React or Angular (optional).
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus or ELK Stack.
