Software Development Engineer - Test - Cypress/Playwright Testing (5-8 yrs)

Requirements :

- Total of 5-8 Yrs of experience as SDET

- minimum 2 years of experience in Playwright or Cypress

- Strong proficiency in Javascript/Typescript

- Experience with CI/CD Jenkins and Jenkins file

- Familiarity with Robot framework is a plus

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Self-motivated and passionate about quality

- Must have experience with K6 or JMeter

- Familiarity with QA tools such as Selenium or Appium is a plus

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright or Cypress.

- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.

- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems.

- Implement best practices for test automation and contribute to the overall test strategy.

- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to enhance code quality.

- Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.

- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing.

Qualifications :

- 2 years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Playwright or Cypress.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.

- Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Jest).

- Understanding of API testing and automation.

- Knowledge of cloud services and containerization (e.g., Docker, AWS).
