Key Responsibilities :
Leadership and Management : Lead a team of Salesforce developers and provide technical direction and mentorship. Ensure that development is aligned with business goals, architectural standards, and best practices.
Solution Design & Architecture : Collaborate with solution architects to design scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions. Provide expertise in customizing Salesforce to meet the specific needs of Qatar Airways.
Development & Integration : Develop, customize, and implement Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies. Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other internal systems such as ERP, CRM, and third-party tools.
Salesforce Best Practices : Enforce Salesforce best practices, code quality standards, and provide input for continuous improvement of development processes.
Performance Optimization : Optimize the performance of Salesforce applications, troubleshoot, and resolve any technical issues or system bottlenecks.
Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that drive business value.
Quality Assurance : Ensure that all solutions undergo rigorous testing, are secure, and comply with governance, security, and regulatory standards.
Upgrades & Releases : Manage Salesforce release management, ensuring that all updates and new features are delivered seamlessly.
Training and Documentation : Develop technical documentation and provide training to junior team members or end-users, as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer) are highly desirable.
Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and LWC).
- At least 2 years of experience leading Salesforce technical teams, with strong expertise in Salesforce architecture and integration.
- Proven experience in managing Salesforce projects and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Experience with tools like Salesforce DX, CI/CD, version control (Git), and test automation is an advantage.
Skills :
- Strong technical proficiency in Salesforce platform, with a deep understanding of Salesforce features and functions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Experience with integration technologies like REST APIs, SOAP, MuleSoft, or other integration platforms.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
