Business Analyst (6-9 yrs)

Job Description :

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.

- Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements to develop insights and solutions.

- Identify areas for process improvement and suggest strategies to enhance efficiency.

- Develop, write, and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple databases.

- Perform data profiling, data analysis, and generate actionable insights from large datasets.

- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.

- Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, technical specifications, and process workflows.

- Generate ad-hoc and scheduled reports for internal stakeholders.

- Present findings and recommendations to the management team in a clear and concise manner.

- Support project teams in planning and executing data-driven projects.

- Track project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigations.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).

- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Familiarity with data modeling and database design concepts.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with cloud data platforms is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with statistical analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is an advantage.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

- Familiarity with business process modeling and BPM tools.

- Knowledge of financial, healthcare, or retail domain-specific analytics is a plus
