Azure Cloud Architect - Azure L3

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will play a key role in translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud architecture. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, engineers, and developers to ensure Azure-based applications and services meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Solution Design:
   -Architecting end-to-end Azure cloud solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
   - Designing cloud infrastructure components such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and identity management (Azure AD).

2. Security and Compliance:
   - Implementing security best practices and compliance controls within Azure environments.
   - Configuring Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, Azure Key Vault, and other security tools to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.

3. Performance Optimization:
   - Optimizing Azure solutions for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
   - Conducting performance tuning, load testing, and capacity planning exercises.

4. Architecture Documentation and Guidance:
   - Creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical documentation.
   - Providing architectural guidance and support to development teams and stakeholders.

5. DR Strategy Development:
   - Collaborating with stakeholders to assess business requirements and define Azure DR strategies and objectives.
   - Designing and implementing Azure-based disaster recovery solutions for critical applications and services.

6. Azure Site Recovery (ASR) Implementation:
   - Configuring and deploying Azure Site Recovery (ASR) to replicate on-premises workloads, virtual machines, and data to Azure for disaster recovery purposes.
   - Testing and validating ASR failover and fail back processes to ensure readiness for disaster scenarios.

7. Automation and Orchestration:
   - Experience with Azure Policy development for Linux OS (SUSE + RedHat + Ubuntu + CentOS)
   - Configuring alerts for file size increase, mount / unmount via email automation.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of Azure services and architecture patterns.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS services, Azure networking, security, and identity management.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert AZ 305) are preferred.
- Extensive hands-on experience implementing infra migration, data migration and data processing using Azure services: Networking, Linux virtual machines, Container, Storage, LB, Autoscaling, Patching Linux (SUSE) OS, Setup Monitoring via Azure, Update Anti Virus.
- Must to have experience on hub spoke model, configuring HA, configuring DR
- Hands-on experience with DR best practices, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of IT disaster recovery principles, including RTO, RPO, and BCP (Business Continuity Planning).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
