Job Overview:

We are seeking four skilled Data Engineers with expertise in Microsoft environments, specifically SQL Server and Azure Cloud, along with experience in Snowflake. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in database development, data modeling, and cloud-based data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions in SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and efficiency.
• Implement and manage data pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Work with Python and Pandas for data transformation and processing.
• Deploy and manage data workflows in Azure Cloud environments.
• Ensure cost optimization in Snowflake Virtual Warehouses.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring reliability and performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

Database

• Proficiency in data modeling and database design.
• Mastery of T-SQL for querying and stored procedures.
• Experience with performance tuning (indexing, query optimization, execution plans).

Snowflake

• Expertise in Snowflake SQL for queries, data modeling, and optimization.
• Experience with Virtual Warehouses and cost optimization techniques.

Orchestration (Apache Airflow)

• Experience in building and orchestrating DAGs for workflows.
• Proficiency in debugging, logging, and monitoring tasks.

Programming

• Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Familiarity with Pandas for data processing.

Cloud & DevOps

• Experience deploying Snowflake and Airflow processes in a cloud environment.

Additional Information:

• This is a remote role with a 1-year contract.
• Candidates must have hands-on experience in SQL Server, Azure Cloud, and Snowflake.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
