Assist the Project Manager to coordinate the Conception, Planning, Execution (to incl Monitoring & Control) & Closure of projects in the field of Waste to Energy.
Officiate as Project Manager in his absence to discharge the duties of Project Manager (Construction)
As Senior Mech Engineer, responsible for installation, commissioning & maintenance of plant machinery & equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Planning & Execution Monitoring
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Ensure that plant construction operations are coordinated and completed within set deadline and planned budget.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within given scope & budget.
Efficiently manage the relationship with the vendors, client and other stakeholders.
Interact with clients/ vendors to clarify specific requirements of the project.
Managing Project Teams
Lead a team of sr & jr engineers for execution of bio energy project within given time, budget and quality.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of given project.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Manage changes to the project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
Delegate tasks based on subordinate staff s individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Reporting & Controlling.
Report and escalate issues to Project Manager as needed.
Develop spread sheets, diagrams, process maps as per requirement.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Reporting to Project Manager on day-to-day progress, prepare daily progress reports.
Other Responsibilities.
Use and continually develop leadership skills.
Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
Perform other related duties as assigned from PM/ senior management.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technical processes, functions and requirements in bioenergy industry.
Build and maintain good working relationships with vendors.
Guiding & mentoring the site mechanical engineers.
Primarily responsible for coordinating and working for all mechanical engineering activities in a plant.
Good knowledge in operational and maintenance activities in manufacturing facilities/ process industry.
Ensure supervision of all the mechanical installation, piping and maintenance work.
Execute all maintenance activities in the plant, including scheduling and performing the preventive and breakdown
mechanical maintenance.
