Biocube - PHP/Node.js Developer - MVC Architecture (4-5 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP and Node.js Developer with experience to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Laravel, and MVC architecture, and have a strong understanding of MySQL databases, GIT, and RESTful APIs.

A quick learner with good knowledge of AWS and solid skills in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), you should be able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP (Laravel) and Node.js .

- Implement and maintain MVC architecture in web applications for clean and efficient code.

- Design and optimize MySQL database schemas and queries for performance and scalability.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support frontend and other backend services.

- Work with AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS, etc.) for deploying, managing, and scaling applications.

- Utilize GIT for version control, ensuring clean and organized code management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality products.

- Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely and efficient manner.

- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and best practices in web development.

- Apply knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) to optimize application performance and solve complex problems.

- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to improving coding standards and practices.

- Work independently and proactively in a startup environment, managing multiple tasks and projects effectively.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- 4-5 years of experience as a PHP and Node.js Developer.

- Proficiency in PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel, and a strong understanding of MVC architecture.

- Experience with Node.js and JavaScript runtime environments.

- Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database design, indexing, and query optimization.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

- Proficient with GIT version control and best practices for collaborative development.

- Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS, etc.) and cloud computing principles.

- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and their application in software development.

- Ability to work effectively in a startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other PHP frameworks (e., Symfony, CodeIgniter).

- Familiarity with frontend technologies (e. , React, Angular, Vue.js ).

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.

- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools
