PGT- History Teacher

Role & responsibilities :

1. Analyzing all prescribed texts and resources to develop quality lesson plans and curricular.

2. Develop and deliver engaging lessons on historical topics, ensuring alignment with school curriculum.

3. Collaborating with fellow teachers, curriculum development and planning, teaching strategies, and classroom management techniques.

4. Grading exams, tests, worksheets, assignments, and presentations, question paper making and contacting parents and other faculty members to discuss concerns and schedule interventions.

5. Adhere to the guidelines and norms of the ICSE Board.

6. Conduct extracurricular activities related to History to encourage interest in the subject.

7. Assess and evaluate students' performance regularly.

Preferred candidate profile :

1. Post-Graduation in History with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.

2. B.Ed is mandatory.

3. Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.

4. Ability to manage classroom discipline and ensure effective teaching.

5. Experience in teaching senior school students preferred.
