Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our team in Chennai. This is a solo role, ideal for a self-motivated and experienced professional who can independently manage and execute tasks. The candidate must have a deep understanding of Node.js and associated frameworks, with the capability to handle end-to-end development, troubleshooting, and delivery of projects without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js applications.
• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Build and manage APIs, backend services, and integrations.
• Debug and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks independently.
• Ensure optimal application performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams when necessary while maintaining the ability to work independently.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 9+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or Hapi.js.
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL, such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and error handling.
