Job Description
- Work with the Chief Financial Officer on developing the budget for a global organization.
- Develop financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and prepare reports highlighting performance month over month, year over year and against budget.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations to management.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and perform cost-benefit analysis.
- Monitor financial performance and advise management on key financial metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with business strategy and that they understand the performance and can be improved to drive results.
- Interact with the Private Equity Firm on reporting of actuals and explaining performance and variances.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Stay up to date on financial regulations, software and analytical tools.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA is a plus.
- 6-10 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles ideally within the technology or SaaS industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- Experience with analysis tools like PowerBI is a plus.
- Familiarity with Sage Intaact, QuickBooks Enterprise and Hyperion is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Have the ability to work under pressure, individually or as part of a team, and meet deadlines.
- Brings a desire to constantly learn and continuously improve.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Enjoy managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) is a plus.
- Experience in the technology startup environment or working in a private equity environment is a plus.
