Engineering Manager - Product Development (8-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team.

- Provide guidance on both technical and professional development to foster a collaborative, productive, and innovative environment.

- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale software solutions.

- Drive architectural decisions and ensure that they align with business objectives and future scalability.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business stakeholders, and designers, to define and implement product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

- Implement and continuously improve engineering processes, best practices, and methodologies to drive operational efficiency and quality.

- Champion Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) across the teams.

- Stay updated on the latest technology trends, tools, and frameworks.

- Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to drive product innovation and business growth.

- Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, and deployment.

- Lead by example in adhering to best coding practices, conducting regular code reviews, and implementing a robust CI/CD pipeline.

- Strong experience in Java programming and a deep understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and multi-threading concepts.

- Extensive experience in building scalable microservices using Spring Boot, with a strong understanding of API design and service orchestration.

- Expertise in working with messaging platforms like Apache Kafka, ensuring high-throughput and low-latency communication between microservices.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and Redshift.

- Understanding of cloud-native application architecture and deployment.

- Strong experience with both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

- Proficiency in designing, optimizing, and scaling databases for high availability and performance.

- Proven experience in leading engineering teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and helping individuals grow professionally.

- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and people management skills
