- The role holder would be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the efficient and profitable production of towel division. The role holder is also responsible for steering the company towards sustainable growth, operational excellence, and market leadership.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve production targets and operational excellence
- Develop and implement sustainable manufacturing practices
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure "Right First Time" production
- Establish feedback mechanisms to track and improve customer satisfaction
- Drive innovation in manufacturing processes and product development
- Recommend to invest in modern technology and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Implement strategies to improve earned hours, which measure productive work hours.
- Analyze and optimize OEE by reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and enhancing process efficiency.
- Control and reduce conversion costs while maintaining product quality
- Implement robust quality control processes to minimize defects and rework
- Implement energy-efficient technologies and water recycling systems
- Ensure strict adherence to production schedules and manufacturing plans.
- Develop contingency plans to handle disruptions in production.
- Lead cross functional teams to execute improvement projects aimed at enhancing effectiveness and efficiency
Role RequirementsQualifications:
- Experience- Minimum of 12 years of operational management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of successful product development and innovation.
- Proven track record of sucessful domestic sales leadership.
- Education: BBA in business, marketing or a related field or MBA/ PhD business, marketing or a related field.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong Ledership and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of yarn manufacturing processes
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management
- Expertise in managing procurement and logistics
- Ability to assess and mitigate operational risks
- Understanding of industry-specific compliance regulations
- Proficiency in supply chain optimization, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
