Job Description
BBD is seeking Java Engineers to contribute to the development and maintenance of robust software solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
- Identifying and resolving production and non-production application issues
- Contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code
- Ensuring designs align with specifications
- Preparing and releasing software components
- Supporting continuous improvement by exploring alternatives and presenting them for architectural review
Requirements
Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:
- BSc degree in a technology-related field (preferable)
- Proficiency in Java with at least 4 years of academic or professional exposure
- Interest in pursuing a professional career in Java development
Required Skills
- Object-Oriented Principles (polymorphism, inheritance, encapsulation)
- Strong Java and OO development knowledge
- J2EE and JSP
- JavaScript and JQuery
- MVC design patterns
- CSS and HTML
- JDBC (creating relational databases, queries, and updates)
- JUnit or other Unit Testing Frameworks
- EJB or Spring Framework
- JPA / Hibernate
- RESTful Framework
- Maven or ANT
- Git
- HTML5 basics
