Engineering Lead - Software Development (6-10 yrs)

We are currently seeking a Product Engineering Lead. The ideal candidate be able to drive technical strategies and product development, while having a strong understanding of the SDLC and related concepts.

Tech Stack : Laravel, React, Flutter, AWS

Key Responsibilities :

1. Engineering Strategy : Drive technical strategy and enhancements to product architecture so that agreed-upon timelines can be maintained while ensuring sufficiently high engineering standards.

2. Strategic Planning : Develop technical roadmaps aligned with business goals and enhance the product in line with current industry trends such as AI/ML, etc.

3. Web Development : Oversee development and maintenance of applications, ensuring that code quality and reliability are observed.

4. DevOps Processes : Establish efficient DevOps operations and implement AWS CI/CD tools for smooth day-to-day functioning.

5. Technical Leadership : Mentor the development team so that best practices in software development are observed.

6. Incident Management : Make sure that SLAs are maintained when troubleshooting critical issues for live clients and that best practices such as RCAs, documentation of fixes deployed and their resulting changes, and reporting are all handled properly.

7. Technical Solutioning and Communication : Conceptualize viable solutions according to requirements and facilitate communication of the same both with the team and with external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile :

- Experience : 6-7 years in software development, with at least 2 years in leadership role.

- Education : Minimum of Bachelor's degree in IT (B.Tech/BE) is mandatory. Only full-time courses will be considered. Higher certifications will be given preference.

Skills :

- The candidate should have led the engineering function for at least 2 years.

- Strong SDLC knowledge and project management.

- Extensive experience in PHP (Laravel), React, REST APIs, and MySQL.

- Proficiency in front-end technologies (jQuery, HTML, CSS, ReactJS).

- Strong understanding of AI/ML tools and how they can be technically integrated into existing code for feature enhancement.

- Familiarity with third-party API integrations.

- Solid understanding of data structures and RDBMS concepts.

- Experience in designing applications with micro services-based architecture.

- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience with basic Agile practices and tools like JIRA, Git, etc.

- AWS DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management.
